Description

Nos 23 and 25 Eastcheap is a corner building constructed in 1861-1862 by John Young and Son. It features polychrome brick with painted dressings and stands five storeys tall with a canted corner. The façade includes round arched openings arranged in pairs and trios, supported by small, enriched columns. The ground storey is arcaded and stuccoed, as is most of the first floor. The building is topped with an enriched cornice.
