Description
Nos 6 and 7 St Mary at Hill, dated 1873, were designed by Ernest George and Vaughan. This building is constructed of yellow and red brick, Portland stone, and grey granite, showcasing a simplified Gothic style. It has four storeys with rectangular openings on the stone ground floor, featuring columns supporting three-light southern windows, an iron gate leading to a passage, and a grille on the northern window. The first floor has mullioned windows and a date stone, with three additional windows above, all adorned with a decorated frieze and a small cornice. The rear elevation is plain yellow brick, featuring decorated segmental window arches and a cornice below the top storey. The interior includes a staircase and a panelled boardroom.
