Description
This is a 19th-century animal drinking trough located approximately 140 meters northeast of the junction with Downshire Hill on East Heath Road in Camden. Made of stone, it was presented by the Metropolitan Drinking Fountain & Cattle Trough Association, and this name is inscribed on one side. The trough features a single type design with spur stones on the roadside and a pavement tray beneath.
