Description

A terrace of ten houses located on the south side of Prince of Wales Road, dating from the mid-19th century. The buildings are constructed of stock brick with stucco dressings, and are three storeys high, with basements. Each house has two windows. The entrances are flanked by pilasters and feature panelled doors with overlights. The architraved sash windows, mostly retaining margin glazing, have bracketed cornices on the first floor. The buildings have a moulded stucco cornice and blocking course. A continuous verandah runs the length of the terrace, incorporating an enriched cast-iron balustrade with key pattern standards and a frieze featuring a toothed valance. The roof of the verandah forms a balcony with an enriched cast-iron balustrade to the first-floor windows. The interiors have not been inspected.
