Description
This drinking fountain, set into a wall next to the Roundhouse, dates from the late 19th century and was presented by the Metropolitan Cattle Trough and Drinking Fountain Association. Made of granite, it stands approximately two metres tall and has a rectangular shape. The design is treated as a Gothic buttress, featuring a pointed arch recess that holds the drinking bowl. It forms a pair with the nearby cattle trough and is part of a group with the Roundhouse.
