Description
This is a three-storey terraced house with a later shop, likely incorporating a 17th-century core. The rear of the building was refaced in the early 18th century, and the front in the early 19th century. It was originally timber-framed with weatherboarded returns. The front is now yellow stock brick, while the rear is brown brick. The roof is tiled and features dormers. There are cellars and an attic. The building has two windows. The restored shopfront has a projecting bracketed window with semi-elliptical arched top panes and a boxed-out entablature with inswept ends and projecting cornice. The house and shop doorways have semi-elliptical heads over fanlights and part-glazed doors, approached by stone steps. The upper floors feature recessed sash windows with gauged brick flat arches. A parapet tops the building. The interior has not been inspected.
