Description

These are three mid-18th century terraced houses located on the southwest side of New End Square. The houses are built of brown brick and have slate roofs; numbers 6 and 8 have a dentil eaves cornice. They are three storeys high, with one window each to numbers 6 and 8, and two small 20th-century windows to number 4. The doorways have gauged red brick arches, with radial fanlights above and panelled doors; the arches to numbers 4 and 6 are painted. Number 8 has a window where a doorway previously existed. The ground floors of numbers 6 and 8 feature a 20th-century canted bay window with a dentil cornice. The first floor has gauged red brick flat arches above flush-framed sash windows with exposed boxing. The second floor has tripartite sash windows to numbers 6 and 8, and a blind window to number 4. The interiors have not been inspected.
