Description

The entrance gates and flanking wall to Burgh House were built in the 18th century and later. The gates are made of good wrought iron and are set between red brick piers that feature stone bands and capitals. The gates display the initials of William Gibbons, a spa physician who resided at Burgh House. The structure is flanked by a yellow stock brick wall that has stone coping and a brick dentil cornice below.
