Description
20 New End Square is an end of terrace house dating from the early 18th century, which was refaced in the early 19th century and has undergone later alterations. The building is constructed of yellow stock brick and stands three storeys tall with a semi-basement. It features three windows, plus one blind window on the canted corner and a one-window return. The entrance front is recessed in three places, with the central door accessed by steps that lead sideways, flanked by cast-iron railings. The round-arched doorway includes a keystone, a radial fanlight, and a panelled door. The windows have gauged red brick flat arches and flush framed sashes, some of which have been reduced in width, with exposed boxing and some glazing bars. The building also has parapets. The interior has not been inspected.
