Description

The Statue of John Cartwright, located in Cartwright Gardens, was created in 1831 by the sculptor George Clarke. This statue features a seated bronze figure of John Cartwright, dressed in contemporary costume, and is mounted on a granite pedestal. A bronze plaque on the pedestal provides information about John Cartwright's career as a political reformer.
