Description
Numbers 24 and 26 are two terraced houses from the late 18th century that have been altered. They feature multi-coloured stock brick and stucco ground floors, with stucco sill bands on the first floor.
No. 24 has four storeys and a basement, with two windows. It has a segmental arched doorway with a cornice, a fanlight, and a panelled door. The ground floor has a wide, round-arched window with rusticated jambs and an archivolt featuring projecting voussoirs. The upper windows are slightly recessed 4-pane sash windows with gauged reddened brick flat arches and exposed boxing. The building has a parapet.
No. 26 also has four storeys and a cellar, with three windows, including one above the entrance to Charlotte Mews. It features a later 19th-century plain shopfront and gauged brick flat arches over recessed 4-pane sash windows. This building also has a parapet.
The interior has not been inspected. The properties are complemented by attached cast-iron railings with torch flambe finials at No. 24.
