Description
This building, located at 78, 78A, and 78B Neal Street, is a house with a later shop, dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century, and altered in the mid-19th century. It features painted stucco with plain bands at the second floor level and below the parapet. The roof is a bitumen felt mansard with a continuous workshop dormer window. The structure has three storeys and an attic, with four windows in total. The mid-19th century stucco shopfront includes Corinthian pilasters that support an entablature with a bracketed cornice. There is a central house doorway and two shop doorways, both with fanlights. The shop windows have been altered, and the sash windows are slightly recessed with exposed boxing. The interior has not been inspected.
