Description
The Monument to Henry Gray is a simple ledger stone featuring a slightly bowed top. The inscription commemorates Henry Gray of Wilton Street, Belgrave Square, a Fellow of the Royal Society and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, who passed away on 18th June 1861 at the age of 34. It also honors Mrs. Ann Gray, his mother, who died on 15th December 1866 at the age of 74. At the foot of the slab, there is a plot number along with the name of the mason, Robert Daniel of Highgate.
