Description
The Manor is a house built in the early 19th century, constructed in two stages. The east elevation, which faces the garden, features two storeys and three windows. The walls are covered in stucco, with a string course at the first floor. The roof is hipped and slated, topped with central chimneys made of gault brick. The windows are small-pane sash types with moulded architraves, and those on the ground floor extend down to the ground. A prominent two-storey flat-roofed porch has moulded eaves cornices. The entrance doorway has a semi-circular head and contains a fanlight with ornamental lead glazing bars, along with a pair of French doors.
On the north front, the house has five windows. The first-floor windows have shouldered architraves, while the ground-floor windows feature cornices supported by console brackets. The house was extended to the west before 1827, as shown on an estate map, and this extension includes the south entrance doorway, which has a six-panelled entrance door and a Greek Tuscan portico porch.
