Description
Church Farmhouse is a 16th-century timber-framed and plastered house. It has two storeys, featuring a jettied upper storey at the south end and a jettied gable above, both supported by moulded bressumers. The first storey is held up by carved brackets with shafts. The house has a four-window range, with a mix of 18th or 19th-century double-hung sashes that include glazing bars and 20th-century casements. On the ground storey, there is a 20th-century canted bay and a two-panel door topped with a flat hood on brackets. The roof is tiled. Church Farmhouse, along with the Parish Church of St Mary, Church Cottages, and the Mill occupied by A Kahn on the North Side of High Street, form a group.
