Description

Flint Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage that stands two storeys high. It is constructed from large flints, some of which are knapped, with red brick quoins and dressings. The cottage features a steeply-pitched, hipped thatched roof. Its small-paned sash windows have arched heads to the frames and rounded arches to the surrounds. The entrance consists of a plain central plank door leading to a fully enclosed porch made of flint and brick. This porch has a steeply-pitched pantiled roof, ornamental ridge-tiles, fluted bargeboards, and a long narrow finial at the apex.
