Description

The wall and gateway to the rear of Number 70, which is not included in this listing, is located in Bury St Edmunds and dates from the late 18th century. The stone doorway features a surround made of stone blocks topped with crenellations and a pointed arch. Above the arch is an inscription that includes a Star of David encasing an ornate letter B, with the text 'No.266 Wool 1792' below it. The wall to the north of the doorway is constructed from a random mixture of stone, flint, and red brick, and it connects two outbuildings that are not included in this listing.
