Description

Vine Cottage is a house that was formerly divided into two separate homes. It dates from the 17th century, with a front added in the 19th century. The building is one-and-a-half storeys high, featuring a timber-framed structure with rendered sides and a red brick front, topped by a thatched roof. There are two chimney stacks at the ends and one internal stack, all with small plain red brick shafts. The exterior includes three 3-light casement windows, each with a single bar to the lights and arched heads to the surrounds, as well as three eyebrow dormers with 2-light casements, also with a single bar to the lights. There are two plain, partly-glazed doors set in arched surrounds. The interior does not have any exposed timbers.
