Description

The former dovecote of Ousden Hall is a square structure from the 18th century, built of flint with red brick dressings. It features four round window openings that are now blocked. Above the doorway, there is a round stone panel that displays a well-carved heraldic lion, which is likely from an earlier building associated with the Mosley family. The roof is a slate pyramid topped with a wooden cupola, which is also blocked. This dovecote, along with the Church of St Peter and the Stables, forms a notable group related to Ousden Hall.
