Description

Brook Cottage is an early 18th-century house constructed from clay lumps. It is a single storey with attics and features casement windows, including one horizontal sliding sash with glazing bars. The entrance has a boarded door, and the roof is thatched, complemented by brick chimney stacks. There is a 20th-century extension at the west end, and the cottage underwent renovations in the 20th century. Brook Cottage is part of a group that includes Willowbrook Cottage, The Dip of the Hill, Springside, and East Side and West Side.
