Description

Tudor Cottage is a 16th century timber-framed and plastered house that was restored in the 20th century. It has two storeys and features a two-window range with 20th century casements that have lattice leaded lights. A 20th century porch displays the date 1457. The roof is thatched and there is a red brick chimney stack that has two octagonal shafts with oversailing caps and moulded bases, set on a rectangular base. Tudor Cottage is part of a group with Hainault Cottage and another house located approximately 20 yards northeast of it.
