Description

Springside and the adjoining house are early 18th century cottages that have been combined into one tenement. They are timber-framed and plastered, featuring a flint front with red brick dressings that dates from the early to mid-19th century. The building has one storey and attics, with casement windows that have segmental brick arched heads. The roof is thatched and includes two gabled dormers. Springside, along with Brook Cottage, Willowbrook Cottage, The Dip of the Hill, East Side, and West Side, forms a group of buildings.
