Description

The Broadway consists of a pair of semi-detached houses built in the early to mid 19th century. They feature white brick fronts and red brick rear extensions. The east gable of No. 11 is made of a mix of red and white brick, with a section of old flint and brick rubble at the base. The houses have slate roofs and are two storeys high, with a three-window range that includes 12-pane sash windows in flush cased frames, topped with cement flat arches. The paired central doorways have plain surrounds and cement flat arches, and there are two 20th-century doors. To the left, there are boarded double doors leading to a wide segmental-arched opening that was formerly a carriage entrance. The houses have two chimney stacks with plain narrow rectangular shafts. The interior has not been inspected.
