Description

Walnut Tree Cottage is a 17th-century house that was restored in the mid-20th century. It has one-and-a-half storeys and features a timber-framed structure that is rendered, topped with a thatched roof. Inside, there is a chimney stack with a plain red brick shaft and a lobby entrance. The cottage has early 20th-century casement windows in a traditional style, primarily consisting of 2-light designs with metal frames and square leaded panes. Eyebrow dormers add character to the roofline. At the rear, there is a large 2-storey wing, which is also rendered and thatched.
