Description

The Cottage is an 18th-century cottage that stands two storeys tall. It is constructed with a timber frame and rendered exterior, topped by a fully-hipped thatched roof featuring a decorated ridge. There is an internal chimney stack with a short, plain shaft made of small red bricks. At the rear of the cottage, there is a wide early 19th-century extension that is one-and-a-half storeys high, with a lean-to pantiled roof that connects to the main roof. The front of the cottage has two 2-light casement windows, each with a single bar, and a central door that is set within an early 19th-century enclosed and gabled timber porch.
