Description
This monument is located 7 feet from the south wall of the chancel and 8 feet from the east wall of the south aisle of the Church of All Saints in Fornham All Saints. It consists of a headstone and footstone placed back-to-back, with the footstone dated 1706 and bearing the initials W.E. The decoration is deeply cut and features a central bucranium holding the ends of a swag in its mouth, flanked by two winged cherub heads. The footstone also includes an hourglass with volutes and crossbones on each side.
