Description

No. 45 on The Street is a 17th-century house that was once divided into two separate homes. It features a timber-framed structure that is rendered, topped with a reed thatch roof that has a decorated ridge. The house is 1 and a half storeys tall and includes one internal chimney stack with a plain red brick shaft, as well as another chimney at the north end, which has one hearth located on the outside of the gable, suggesting that the building has been shortened over time. The property has four two-light small-paned casement windows and three eyebrow dormers.
