Description

The serpentine walls surrounding the kitchen garden, located immediately to the northwest of Coney Weston Hall, date from the early 19th century. These walls are constructed of red brick and feature a plain coping. The design includes wide and shallow curves, with each outward curve supported by a slightly projecting plain pilaster that acts as a buttress. There are six curves in the south-facing section, while the slightly higher western section has three deeper curves. A fragmentary section remains on the north side.
