Description

Regal Cottage is a house from the 18th century with 19th-century alterations. It features a two-cell, lobby entrance plan and stands one-and-a-half storeys tall with attics. The structure is timber-framed and has a roughcast render finish. The roof is a thatched gambrel style, complete with thatched gabled casement dormers and an axial chimney made of red brick. The windows are late 19th-century three-light small-pane casements. The entrance door is battened and boarded, accompanied by integral side-lights. There are also two lean-to extensions from the 19th century at either end, constructed from flint rubble with red brick quoins and topped with a pantiled roof.
