Description

Sparks Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 16th century or early 17th century, with alterations made in the late 18th century or early 19th century. It has a three-cell plan and stands two storeys high. The structure is timber-framed and rendered, while the projecting wing on the right features a 19th-century parapet gable made of flint and brick rubble. The roof is thatched with clasped purlins and has axial and gable chimneys made of red brick. The farmhouse includes 19th-century casement windows and boarded entrance doors. At the time of the survey, the left-hand cell was in the process of demolition.
