Description

The Lodge is the north gatelodge to Great Saxham Hall, dating from the early 19th century. It is a single-storey building with white brick walls and a slated roof. The entrance features a portico that faces the road, supported by giant Ionic stucco columns and topped with a rendered pediment. The building has casement windows and a plank entrance door. To the north, there are two rendered brick gate piers with pineapple finials, between which the road passes, although these are not of special interest.
