Description

Rope House is a house built around 1840, with a late 19th-century extension. It features cut flint with painted gault brick dressings and hipped slate roofs, including a T-shaped brick stack on the front range. The exterior has a two-storey, two-window front that is divided into panels by brick courses, and a taller two-storey rear extension. A central late 19th-century gabled porch protects a 6-panelled 20th-century door. On either side of the porch, there is one 8/8 unhorned sash window under segmental heads, with two similar sashes on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
