Description

The Church of St. Thomas a Becket is a medieval ruin located in Westley on Old Church Lane. It is constructed from flint rubble with some limestone ashlar. The remains include part of the east end wall, which shows the outline of a window, as well as part of the south chancel window and its return wall. Additionally, there is a section of the west end featuring limestone ashlar work, while only the bases of other sections of the walling remain. For further details, refer to the "History of Suffolk, Thingoe Hundred" by Gage, published in 1838.
