Description

This is a limestone tomb-chest located 6 metres south of the chancel of All Saints Church. It commemorates Arthur Young, who died in 1820, and his wife Martha, who died in 1815, both of Bradfield Hall. The tomb-chest features splayed sides with a weathered top slab and plinth, all adorned with restrained mouldings. The epitaphs are engraved on fielded panels on the sides of the chest.
