Description

The Blooms is a house dating to the late 15th century, with extensions from the 17th century and a raised roof in the late 18th century. It is five bays wide and has a lobby entrance plan. The house is timber-framed and has a roughcast exterior, with approximately 1980s Roman tiles on the roof. The ground floor has mid-20th century casement windows, while the upper floor has 19th-century casements. A 20th-century door sits within an open timber porch. Some original timber framing remains visible, along with one smoke-blackened roof truss inside.
