Description

The boundary walls and gate piers to Queensberry House are a notable feature located along the street frontage to the north of the house in Newmarket. The high red brick wall extends along the street and curves around to the west, where there are two wide gateways flanked by high brick piers. The top of the wall slopes inward and is finished with a plain course of headers. The gate piers are topped with moulded stone capitals, each crowned by a sphere. These structures are included for their group value context.
