Description

The Nuthatch is an 18th-century outbuilding associated with Tyrells Farm House, which was likely originally a brewhouse for the Swan Public House, now known as Old Swan House on Old Bury Road. The structure is built of rendered clay lump or timber frame, with some areas covered in corrugated metal sheeting, and features a thatched roof. It has a small rectangular shape and includes a recessed boarded door and a small four-light window at the front, both situated under a hoodboard. There is an external red brick stack with offsets at the right end of the building. The interior has not been inspected. The Nuthatch is included in the listing for its group value with nearby structures.
