Description

This is a cart lodge with a granary above, built in the early 19th century. It features a gable-entry design and is three bays long. The structure is timber-framed and weatherboarded, standing on a plinth of red brick. The roof is slated, having previously been thatched. Inside, there is a staircase leading to the granary, which has louvred windows in both gables. This building is included for its group value with nearby structures.
