Description
This is a basin on a plinth, one of a pair, located 25 meters west of Shrubland Hall in the north sector of the Balcony Garden. It was created around 1850 as part of the Balcony Garden designed by Sir Charles Barry. The basin is made of white limestone and is shallow with a diameter of approximately 1.5 meters. It is supported by three piers that feature leopard heads, resembling a term. The base of the basin is triangular, with moulded concave segmental sides.
