Description

Lavender Cottage is a late 17th or early 18th century house, subsequently divided into two dwellings. It is timber-framed and plastered, with a thatched roof. The original plan likely featured two main rooms, possibly with a lobby entrance. The house is one storey high with an attic. There are entrances at both ends of the front facade, with a boarded door on the right side. The windows are 20th-century casements, and the roof has two round-headed dormers with two lights each. A central axial stack rises from the ridge. A lean-to outshut is located at the right end. The interior has not been inspected.
