Description

This is a pair of identical chest tombs belonging to members of the Cay family, located about 2 to 5 meters south of the Church of St. Mary. They date from the early 19th century and are constructed of ashlar stone. Each tomb features moulded bases and cappings, with inscriptions on the cap stones that are largely obscured. The sides of the tombs have raised fielded panels and fluted quadrant indented corners, along with recessed angle pilasters that have bellied bases.
