Description

This urn, one of a pair, dates from the early 19th century and is located 60 meters south-west of the center of the west elevation of Helmingham Hall. It is made of limestone and stands approximately 1.5 meters high. The urn features a square base with a small wreath on each face. It has a slender stem, and the bowl is shallow with gadrooning and an everted rim. The urn is included for its group value and is also listed as Grade I in the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.
