Description

This is a chest tomb dedicated to Marianne Sapio, dating from 1811. It is constructed of brick faced with ashlar and has a rectangular shape. Each long side features two inscription panels, which are separated by central and corner reeded pilasters. The tomb is topped with a flat ledger slab. It is located 5 metres north of the Church of St Peter and Paul on Church Street in Eye.
