Description

The boundary walls and gates to St Peter and St Paul's churchyard date from the mid-19th century. They are constructed of red brick laid in Flemish bond, featuring brick piers at regular intervals. The walls have a saw-toothed cornice topped with roll-moulded coping bricks. At the south-west corner, brick gate piers support iron gates that connect with a wall of a similar style, which defines the boundary with Hoxne Road. This structure is included for its group value.
