Vine Cottage is an early 19th-century house, with older fabric to the rear. It is timber-framed and rendered with a plastered exterior, and has a slated roof. The house is two storeys high with a symmetrical facade of three windows, which are inset sash windows with glazing bars. Hoodmoulds are present over the first-floor windows. The front door is a six-panel raised and fielded door, set within panelled reveals, with a rectangular fanlight featuring ornamental glazing bars, a moulded architrave with corner roundels, and a cornice.
