Description

The monument to Mary Ann Freeman and other family members is located 20 metres southeast of the chancel of the Church of St Peter and St Mary in Stowmarket. It was created in 1833 and later. The monument is made of stone and features a square moulded plinth that supports a tapering square sarcophagus chest resting on four block feet. There are inscriptions on all four sides, and it has a moulded lid.
