Description
Pinkney's Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 16th century to early 17th century, with alterations made in the late 19th century. It is timber framed and encased on three sides in late 19th century red brick, while the rear is finished with roughcast render. The roof is covered with glazed black pantiles and the building has two storeys and an attic. It follows a three-cell, lobby entry layout and features three late 19th century casement windows set under segmental arches. A gabled brick porch with wavy bargeboards leads to a four-panel door that has a shallow two-centre arched head. The internal stack retains its original lower part, which has an inset oblong panel. Much of the internal structure is reported to be concealed. The farmhouse is located on a moated site.
