Description

Wingfield Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid 17th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and has a roughcast render, topped with a pantiled roof. The building has two storeys and follows a two-cell form. The windows on the front are 20th-century casements. There is a central gabled porch that is two storeys high; although it is from the 17th century, it is not the original feature. The porch has a 20th-century four-panel door, with the upper two panels being glazed. A central axial stack is present, but the upper part of the shaft was rebuilt in the mid 20th century. Much of the internal structure is concealed.
