Description

Grange Farmhouse is likely a 17th-century farmhouse, with alterations from the 19th century. It is a two-storey building with a three-cell lobby-entrance plan and four windows. The construction is timber-framed and plastered, with a plaintiled roof. It features an axial chimney constructed primarily of red brick, with the shaft largely rebuilt in 19th-century gault brick. A further external service chimney is located to the left, also of red brick. The windows are small-pane casements from the mid-20th century, and a circa-19th century gabled porch with a plaintiled roof is present at the lobby-entrance position, featuring a half-glazed panelled door. The interior has not been examined.
