Description

Wentis Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1840, constructed from gault brick and featuring a hipped slated roof. It has two internal chimneys made of gault brick; one chimney has twin octagonal shafts, while the other has three shafts, both with concave faces and startops. The building is two storeys high and has three windows, which are sashes with flush frames and small panes. The central panes of each sash are undersquare, and the windows are topped with flat arches made of gauged brick. The entrance door consists of six panels and is sheltered by a Tuscan portico porch, which has columns and a flat entablature, along with panelled reveals. On the west side, there is a return elevation featuring three windows plus a dummy window.
